🎯 Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced JIRA Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Atlassian JIRA ecosystem. In this role, you will architect scalable solutions to improve Agile processes, workflow efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable JIRA configurations, including custom workflows, fields, schemes, and dashboards

• Manage and optimize JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence environments

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to align JIRA structures with Agile delivery needs (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)

• Integrate JIRA with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Slack, Confluence, and other third-party platforms

• Lead migration projects, JIRA upgrades, and enterprise-wide JIRA administration

• Define and implement JIRA governance standards, including access control, usage policies, and project templates

• Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA performance issues and provide ongoing user support

• Train teams and stakeholders on JIRA best practices and usage

🧠 Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in JIRA Administration and Architecture (minimum 8 years preferred)

• Hands-on expertise with custom JIRA workflows, automation, scripting (ScriptRunner/Automation Rules)

• Solid knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks

• Experience with JIRA API integrations, JQL, and RESTful APIs

• Proficiency in Confluence and its integration with JIRA

• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub) is a plus

• Atlassian Certifications (ACP-100 / ACP-500 / ACP-600) are preferred

✅ Preferred Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Previous experience in large enterprise environments or with ITSM/Agile transformation projects
