Role Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices into the software development and deployment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work with development, operations, and security teams to automate and improve security in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, and cloud environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Embed security controls and monitoring in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

• Implement and manage security tools for static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and dependency (SCA) analysis.

• Ensure secure containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and container security tools.

• Monitor for and respond to security threats in cloud (GCP) and on-prem environments.

• Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities and enforce secure coding standards.

• Automate compliance checks and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SAMA CSF, NCA frameworks ..).

• Conduct threat modeling and participate in security design reviews.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / IT / CyberSecurity or related field.  

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Security, or Cloud Engineering.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and workflows.

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP).

• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, code analysis tools, and security baselines.

• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure SDLC principles.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and GitOps practices.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 • Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance tuning.

 • Exposure to cloud-based BI platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

 • Familiarity with tools like Alteryx, SSIS, or other ETL solutions is a plus.​
