Role Description:

We are looking for a skilled Payment Tester to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our payment systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing RTGS, Swift, IPS, and IMPS payment systems and should be detail-oriented with a strong background in financial transaction testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, review, and execute functional test cases for banking and payment applications
Validate message formats and flows for both MT and MX standards (e.g., MT103, MT202, MT3XX, MT4XX, MT7XX; PACS, PAIN, CAMT)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality assurance
Analyze business and technical requirements to derive test scenarios
Perform defect tracking and reporting using standard QA tools
Ensure compliance with SWIFT standards and payment protocols
Work on applications such as TMX and SWIFT for end-to-end testing.

Required Skills:

3–5 years of experience in functional software testing within the banking and payments domain
Strong understanding of SWIFT message types (MT & MX formats)
Experience with test case design and execution
Familiarity with TMX and SWIFT applications
Knowledge of payment flows, transaction lifecycles, and financial messaging standards
Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
ISTQB or similar testing certifications (preferred)
Prior experience in banking/financial services testing.
